We stopped at this location today, we like Portillo's as they are consistent with service and quality and like the food. Street food fare here if you are not familiar, specifically Chicago food. Chicago style hot dogs which we love, Chicago beef sandwiches that are decent, good fries, sausage, burgers and their cakes. I tried the cheeseburger for the first time and was pleased. It think it's 1/3 lb and char broiled. I liked it. We had a hot dog and garden salad as well which also came with some bread and butter which is nice. The salad was fresh tasting. A nice location and fortunately we came at a slower period. A standard Portillo's and we'll stop again if we are in the area.

First time going here and it was really good. Deb took care of our order and was a delight to interact with. I had 2 hot dogs and my wife had the Italian beef. The beef was good, but probably would have been better with the hot peppers too. The onion rings were incredible! Don't miss out on those!

I am originally from northwestern Indiana and I have been to Chicago many times. I love coming to Portillos so I can keep the “Chicagoan” in me alive. This specific Portillos, hands down, has made the best Chicago dogs. Highly recommend! Definitely get the cheese sauces with the fries too!

Look at this beautiful Italian beef with all that giardinera! I'm constantly trying the Portillo's restaurants as I come across them outside Illinois and this one did not disappoint. Everyone working here is extremely friendly and helpful. I even got a beard compliment!

The manager is so nice and the food is just as good as in Chicago. This location is a little smaller than those in Chicago but it’s still got great historic decorations and is a very nice spot for eating in, and they have a party room it looks like also.

We had our small wedding reception here in April 2024! The staff and everyone at portillos was amazing. I loved how clean it was, and they accommodated all my wedding wants from cheese fountain, to waters for everyone and the bar to be used. They even packed up all the food and gave us a souvenir wedding gift to take home. They let me bring in my own cake and set up my guest book/card table :) communication was excellent with texting and emailing Robert the manager. He was excellent and food/ service was superb! They even gave us a worker to help set up everything we needed and kept the buffet keep coming and nothing went wrong. They were very sweet and personable and so happy we had it there! Zero stress for me on my day. I would recommend 100percent. I was so happy and my husband and I will always be coming back. Thank you for the best wedding night ever.

First time visiting Portillo's, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is nice with a lot of older memorabilia and advertisements throughout. I got the cheeseburger and expected it to be heavy on my gut. It really wasn't. I ate the burger, fries, a strawberry shortcake and didn't feel like I needed to sleep it off till tomorrow. I'm looking forward to bringing the entire family next time.

Everything was tasty!! The beef and sausage with a dip is great, add sweet and hot peppers!! Add nacho cheese to give it more flavor. I also got a bacon cheeseburger which was really good! The polish sausage is really good as well. The bread was soft and I would definitely order again. Service was good and timely. No complaints!
